 Lightening and thunder,
Declaration of short arrival of  rain .
Clouds bearing overwhelming weight are floating in the sky  just to burst  out in moment ,  let go of the contained rain droplets and shower the city .

Though halfheartedly , monsoon has finally made its long awaited arrival  . And  i bet there's anyone out there  in my rivalry as the immense pleasure due to this progress is concerned.

 Unpredictability,
The greatest essence of monsoon.
Have you come across the situation where it  downpours extremely the day u  step out of your home without an umbrella? Ha ha. Happens to me all the time. Then there are peeps who love getting drenched in the rain .But no , i don't belong to the group. I am among those who places himself  by the window with a bucket of  snack accompanied by a hot drink and splurges  time  on gazing  those droplets and their  effects.

 Ah~
It started ! the downpour.
with its sudden roar, it is making its downfall  .Those individual  droplets when reached the ground  unite, form relatively big mass and flow  accordingly . Like how they swallow and wash away all the dirt and tiny stuffs lying on the surface , can it wash away all the traumatic memoirs and griefs?
If Yes , Please  draw them all out . Was them all away .
And why don't you plead to get yours washed away too ?

  1. Love this! I love the rain, but I mostly love to watch it. To sit by the window with a warm cup of cocoa and a book, is marvelous. Even better if there is lightning and thunder. :)

  7. Don't get much rain in Los Angeles and the downpours are few. Yesterday it rained a tiny bit, but it made everything dirtier. That's what we usually get--dirty rain.

  13. This is beautiful! I love the rain, but have never experienced a monsoon. Rain makes me very reflective and quiet inside. I love the metaphor of washing everything away. I really needed that reminder.

  16. Thanks for your visit. I checked a couple of your pieces. There is a charm about them, like expressing yourself openly even though you may not be that way in real life. I too like talking about the natural world and even creating a different world for me to inhabit. I will look out for more from you.

  29. Goku, thank you for this wonderful exploration, I wish I could say that I've experienced a monsoon. I love that you have taken this element and expressed it in the form of an equation: the anticipation, the burst, the downpour~watching droplets unite and flow accordingly, lovely. I am definitely laying out every bit of sorrow, grief, and dirt as soon as I see the first rain drop, which won't happen for quite a while here, but I look forward to it as soon as it comes. Many blessings. :)

  31. Hi, I loved your post! Though of course we never had monsoons in Hamburg, the six years we lived there I had the impression that it rained very, very often - I almost never left the house without a tiny pink umbrella. Extra light, to carry it around in the handbag. Here in Berlin it is different: very cold or very hot. Not that much rain. Though I love rain (in moderation)
