Its been a while since i  lamented over my office life.Feels like i've been working since ever!
Everything i do or try to at least seems to be adjacent to it. I make plans, but at the very end fail to substantiate it. A plan, some more and then it becomes a pile. One day off, and so many things to do.

Well to be precise, we had planned to meet up.
We, this quite young friend and me. For coffee and cakes.
Both of us have this massive thing for cakes. We had agreed to meet up a more than a few times, had decided on where and when but would walk over the last minute. Some faults on me, some on her.

So this very day, we did meet.
My office does mercy and gives a forty-five minutes lunch break. Utilizing the same, she came to pick me up. She's got a ride. A sexy brownish purple. Imagine!
we hopped into a nearby cafe that serves the yummiest brownies. Sipping the coffee, having those bites. Frivolous talks and weird giggles. And periodically glancing over the watch tied around my wrist. Fright of crossing the time when the lunch break is over!
But then, we met right?
Ha!

  2. That's nice that you got to meet with your friend and catch up! The older we get, the harder that time seems to make, it seems.
